Calder Park THUNDERDOME is Open for Continuous Laps
You. Your Car. Multiple Laps of the Thunderdome.
That’s right enter the track from pit lane then drive 5 minutes (approx 5-6 laps). All you need is your car* (in a safe & track-worthy condition) and an AASA or MA licence.
Day Licences are available.
We’ve all seen super-speedway on TV, you may have even been to and watched racing on Thunderdome, now you can experience it yourself, in your own car in a fun, social, non-competition environment.
Over the course of 4 hours, you’ll do 8 x 5-minute sessions*. Why such short sessions? Driving the Thunderdome takes a lot of concentration. We want to maximise your enjoyment factor and reduce the risk of crashing. Short runs and lots of them is a recipe for great day out.
