The Valvoline Autofest Series and its associated event partners would like to welcome into its family of events
Calder Park Raceway where not only the Melbourne Valvoline Autofest will be staged in October 2013 but also
that of another similar event at Easter 2013. After months in the making all parties have now signed a 5 year
contract with the option for a further 5 years to hold not one but two High Performance Car Festivals at this iconic
location.
Melbourne has been crying out for an event's of this nature and we see this agreement to be a great inclusion to
Melbourne's Motorsport Calender. Each event will include all the usual Autofest activities such as Heads up Go To
Whoa, Dyno Challenge, Autokana, Show N Shine, Burnout etc as well as the inclusions of Drag Racing, Drift Comp
and Straight line SuperSkids.
As for the running of each event, Autofest management will join forces with Calder Park Management for the
planning and running of the Easter events and it will be up to Autofest Team solely to stage the October event.
More news will be released shortly but for now you can lock in Easter Long weekend as well as October 19th and
20th 2013 so book your accommodation early as we are sure it will quickly fill.
