Calder Park Monaro Recently had a MOTOR UPGRADE

Calder Park Monaro as seen at all of our events has recently been upgraded.  Sam and the boys from COME RACING have given the original LS1 an upgrade to LS1 383.

LS1 production block, line honed main tunnels, ARP main stud kit, bores

power honed with alloy torque plate to 3.905" size (.010" oversize).

Clearanced for stroker crank, rod assembly. Block decked to square, new

cam bearings fitted.

 

COME Racing Stroker kit fitted including COME 4340 forged steel 4.00"

stroke crank, COME 4340 steel billet lightweight rods, custom Diamond

Racing forged "boost" pistons, Total Seal rings, King rod bearings,

Clevite main bearings. Stroker assembly fully balanced and crank fitted

with new 24 tooth crank sensor wheel, Powerbond steel balancer, Clevite

single row timing chain and gear set, GM Performance parts high volume

oil pump, COME hydraulic roller lifters, COME billet steel camshaft

part # LSCH-920

 

Production cathedral port LS1 heads fully rebuilt including...hot tank

clean, new Premier bronze valve guide sleeves, new stainless 2.02" and

1.60" valves, 3 angle valve job, conical valve springs part # COME125,

moly spring retainers part # COME MSRLS, positive valve stem seals,

fully assembled with full VICTOR seal and gasket set as well as ARP

head stud kit.
