As of 1st July 2007 all of Calder Park Raceway's activities and dealings operate under the auspices of the Australian Motorsport Club Limited (AMC)
AMC - Our Mission Statement
To expand and promote The Home of Australian Motorsport (AMC) at Calder Park Raceway and Virginia Raceway as versatile entertainment venues. To provide a venue for community events at little or no cost and, through activities to be conducted at AMC Calder Park, to raise funds for community projects and other charities. To continue to promote Legal Off Street Drag Racing at a low cost. This activity has been promoted for 27 years without a single injury to any competitor. AMC will continually strive to develop this major activity as an alternative to racing on the public roads of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, and lead the world in promoting and providing an outlet for young drivers who have the urge for speed!

| AMC Spring / Summer Street Series 2008-2009 |

The AMC Spring / Summer Street Series will run over 13 rounds in conjunction with the Legal Off Street Drag Racing days, Starting Sunday september 7th and continuing through to Saturday March 28th 2009.
This event is strictly a street car event, with classes from 4 cylinder to V8's, blown and unblown theres a category for everyone.

Calder Park Appoints New Drag Racing Manager...
July, 2008 - Melbourne’s home of motorsport, Calder Park Raceway, announces the appointment of Nezir (Nez) Demaj to the role of Drag Racing Manager.
Nez Demaj, 47, is a well known identity in Drag Racing, bringing 25 years of competition experience to the role which will oversee the re-introduction of independent drag racing events at the popular Melbourne motorsport and entertainment venue.

| Say No To Alcohol & Drugs In Motorsport |

In line with our efforts to make motorsport as safe as possible, the Australian Motorsport Club at Calder Park is implementing random breath tests for competitors, pit crews and officials.
These random tests will commence from sign in at the circuit until the conclusion of the last event of the day.
Only a ZERO breath test reading will be acceptable, any competitor, pit crew or official with a reading above zero will be excluded from the event and escorted from the Calder Park premises.

The Calder Park National Circuit is available on a number of dates for open practice, please check calendar for official dates, usually every second Wednesday of the month. Open practice days give motoring enthusiasts the opportunity to test their vehicles under the supervision of a qualified safety officer.
